Tuck Sweater Man has a classic cut with European shoulders, made with highlighted increases. The characteristic increases are repeated at the neckline and add a detail to the stockinette yoke. After the yoke, tucks are made, which appear as structural stripes on the body and sleeves. The tucks can be knitted in the ground colour or in a contrast colour.

The sweater is designed to be close fitting. If you want a slightly looser model, you should choose a larger size.

It is worked top-down. The stitches for the back are cast on and worked back and forth in stockinette stitch with highlighted increases on the shoulders. When the shoulders reach the final width, decreases are made at the armholes and the back piece is set to rest.

Stitches are knitted up along the left shoulder and increases for the neck are worked. The right shoulder is worked in the same way and the two shoulder pieces are joined at the front of the neck.

Stitches are knitted up for the top of the sleeves and from here you work in the round with the Contiguous method. This means that the body and sleeves are worked together. Along the way, increases are made, first on the sleeves and later on both the sleeves and the body.

The first tuck is worked across both body and sleeves.

The work is divided for the sleeves and the rest of the body is knitted in stockinette stitch with tucks. The body is finished with a rib edge and Italian bind-off.

Stitches are knitted up at the neck and a rib is worked.

Stitches are knitted up under the arms and the sleeves are worked one at a time in stockinette stitch with tucks. Decreases are made along the inside of the sleeves and before the finishing rib.
